According to the Tax Justice Network, if the world’s rich actually paid tax on what they have stashed away in the likes of Switzerland, the British Virgin Islands, the Channel Islands etc, we could pay the Millennium development goals for Africa five times over. And that would mean Bono could shut up and go home.
