I’m pretty sure it’s part number 11, or the equivalent on my car if this picture isn’t my car. It looks like it’s there to protect part 9 (whatever that is) from flying debris or something. It has vents in it. Also my exhaust is really loud now so I guess either it’s created a hole or it acts to muffle the sound.

I might be able to put it back on myself, but I’ll need to get it up on a set of ramps before I can tell for sure.
