My Dad’s getting a new Blu-Ray player, so he’s given me his old one. It’s got just about every type of connection ever invented on the back. My TV does 720p video too, so that should work a treat, you’d think, but no. The only way I know of to get HD video into the TV is by a VGA input, which is the only damn thing the BD player doesn’t have.

Great.

So it’s currently just a glorified DVD player. I guess when I get a fancy TV it’ll work great with it…
