Today I went to look at a flat in a castle! (Well, a 16th century country house.) It had just about the craziest layout I’ve ever seen and I’m pretty sure the main bathroom was put into the servant’s stairwell…

It’s badly in need of redecoration and would need carpeted throughout. I don’t think I could afford that so it’s a no go. :(
