Well, I just watched Batman Begins for the first time since I saw it in the cinema and, well, I was a little disappointed. I guess the second one’s so good I just sort of assumed the first one must’ve been really good too…

It’s not bad, just rather silly and it felt slightly muddled. This has to be one of those rare cases where the sequel’s better than the first one.

Also, is Gotham an entirely different place in the second movie? It’s kind of a strange alternate history thing in the first.
