Geeks and Repetitive Tasks

This makes me think of a woman at my work. She’s far busier than any of the rest of us and it took us ages to work out why. She grabs as much work as she possibly can and then doesn’t automate ANY of it. She does everything manually. When she’s off we get phone calls to email files to folk every day. The same files. Every day. That’s a one line shell script right there!
