Well, I had a fun weekend. I got 3DStudio Max 2.5 working and started playing about with it, it's not that difficult to get some cool effects. I decided to make an animation of a city with lots of cool lighting effects and fog and stuff but I couldn't get the lights to fade off into the distance because I couldn't work out the texture atributes. I might try it without the fog.
Jamie, Neil, Nielsen and Paddy (and mibbe some others, I don't know) went out on Saturday night. They were going down the town but got knocked back at both pubs they went to so they came up to the Union. I didn't go with them because they were going down the town, I would probably have gone if I'd known they were coming up here.
I got an email from a guy going to ScotLAN who is in first year at Strathclyde and it was from a CS account, he's probably in half my classes or something.
