I discovered that there was a Diamond FTP mirror on Sunsite so I finally managed to download the sound drivers at 200 k/sec. Unfortunately, when I go them home they fucked Windows up. I had to go and remove all the drivers manually in safe made. Grrrrr! I had to do a lot of mucking about to get the zip drive in my computer. There were these blanking plates across the drive bays and I had to pull them out but they didn't want to move at all. I finally got it in the 3.5" bay where my Floppy drive was and moved the floppy drive down one bay (due to the length of my IDE cable). It runs pretty nice so I'm happy, my Dad even offered to pay for part of it.
I can't get my Java practical 12 working, I think it's all just kinda silly stupid mistakes so I'm gonna do it at home because it's not to be in till next week.
