I got a Zip drive today! An internal IDE effort. Currently I'm downloading drivers for my sound card, 15meg! I've already worked out a way I can get files to Jamie so he can put them on Zip disks (he's using the zip machine).

Yesterday was eventfull, I managed to really upset Vic by saying she was fuzzy or something. She said it wasn't just that but it kinda threw her over the edge, as it were.

Bloody Diamond multimedia FTP site is damn slow, 5-6k/sec. I guess it's cos it's in the USA and the links with the US are kinda strained or something. I downloaded the 1.4 BattleZone patch from a UK server and it came down at 60 odd k/sec. Which was nice. Diamond is UNDER 5 k/sec now! Grrrrr!
