Well, it's the new year and I've not updated this for ages so I thought I'd do it now. Lots of stuff has happened since mid November but not much worthy of note. December passed by almost unnoticed, my Grampa got ill towards the end of the month, just before Christmas. The new year itself was a bit crap, I had to sit around and watch TV cos there was nothing else to do. Grampa died in January, I failed my maths exam but passed Computer Systems. Theres a potential Marrow donor for Douglas but it's not as good a match as they'd like so they'll keep looking but it does mean that if anything happens they'll have one.
Alisdair got a new PC and Debian Linux for it so I borrowed that off him and installed that over Red Hat. I see that I hadn't got Q2 working when I last updated my .plan, I got it working under Linux but the sound didn't work. I still haven't got round to getting that working, I think I'll have to recompile the kernal, my first compiling experience! Anyway, I got X under Debian to run at 1024x768 which is nice but I can't get it to save my settings for what it looks like, I guess I'll need to do a bit of investigating.
