The Week
I had a pretty quiet week, all in. I finally got round to reading The Underground Man by Ross Macdonald that’s been sitting on my to‐read shelf for probably the best part of a decade. I really shouldn’t have left it as long as I did as I really got into it and finished it off super quick. It’s a hard‐boiled detective novel set in California around 1970. Great fun.
I also received and read Volume One of The Swords of Glass by Corgiat and Zucceri, a French fantasy comic about a world that’s dying due to climate change and a group of people trying to stop it using, in some way, four glass swords that fell out of the sky.
I’m really looking forward to volume two, but I’ve no idea when it’s due.
In other news I’ve started writing an RSS reader/aggregator/web page. I’ve been doom‐scrolling Google News and, well, it’s mostly crap, so I figured I could write a wee web site that allows me to do the same thing, but contentrating on the crap I prefer to read.
We’ll see if that ever gets finished…
